HALLOWEEN

This is how our Halloween morning started. Chris & Amelia stood in line for 2 hrs. so that Amelia could get her H1N1 vaccination and she did great! Afterwords she got a treat of course! Then a night full of Trick-or-Treating!
She looks so sad here but she doesn't even know where she's headed.

She has no clue what's in store for her...but daddy does!

Amelia's first pumpkin carving...I think daddy had the most fun! Ruby was fast asleep.

Right before the big trick-or-treating adventure. We had so much fun watching Amelia....she had a blast!

We were trying on Ruby's costume...how cute!

2nd yr. as the pink poodle. She did have a tinkerbell outfit but I thought this would be warmer and she was excited so we went for it. Once again she was a hit and we know it's because it's so ugly it's cute!

Our sweet little ladybug...she slept the entire time, which was a little over 2 hrs. (we made a pit stop at friends house for a drink)

This is the haunted house around the corner...someone chases you out of the yard with a chain saw after you get candy!! How fun! If you look close Chris is holding Amelia cuz she was scared of course!!

Fun Fall Weekend!!

We had a fun fall weekend raking leaves, hangin out with grandma Pam and staying warm!
Filled up our pumpkins from Grandma Sue & Papa!

This is great!

Jumping in all of our hard work.

Can you find me??

Grandma Pam came to watch the girls so we could go to a concert for our anniversary...thanks grandma Pam.

We were having a fashion show with Amelia's new winter jacket, hat & shoes.

Getting ready to bring treats to daddy's work. Amelia picked out her outfit today. The best part is hard to see...a Grateful Dead armband and a headband under her hat that she put on herself! Dad was very impressed.

This is how Auntie Kas & Ruby start out and......

a couple minutes later she's out! Every time....she definitely has the touch!

Ruby's new favorite position!!

Amelia made her own bassinet.

Yardwork with Daddy!

Daddy recently got a green thumb and there's no stopping him. Papa will be very impressed!
Daddy's little girl

They are both too cute!!

Look out everyone!

Amelia's favorite thing. Fill the watering can with water over & over & over again. Spray the house, daddy and anything else within range!

NDSU homecoming parade & a lazy day at home!

It was only about 45 degrees & sprinkling outside but we thought Amelia would love the parade so we all bundled up and had a great time!
Amelia's 1st parade. She loved it & got too much candy.

Chillin' with my daddy after spitting up on him.

Amelia holding Ruby but was trying to push her off cuz she had had enough after about 30 seconds.

Amelia about 1 hr. before she crashed. She was on a sugar high thanks to mommy. I made the mistake of giving her a sucker & tootsie roll at the parade so of course that meant no nap and bouncing off the walls all afternoon...it was hilarious. We were laughing so hard. She crashed at 6:30pm and slept until 8:20am.

Ruby is so strong and loves trying to sit and stand up.

Minot For A Couple Days

We were home to spend some time with family and for the opening of the new restaurant...Badlands. We had time to go to the zoo, lake, a wedding and just hang out with everyone.
Papa brought me to the zoo & my favorites were the bears & monkeys! The monkeys were very loud that day and Amelia would put her hands to her ears and yell "be quiet, ok?"

Amelia was in awe of the salsa dancers!

I got roped into taking Amelia & Oliver up & down this slide at least 5 times...what a great mom & auntie, huh?

I love my Papa!!

You can tell by her face that she's not sure if that was fun or scary but did it many more times after that.

Amelia's First Haircut - Time To Get Rid Of The Curly Tail!!

This first haircut was quite the experience. The first 10 min. was terrible. She screamed, cried, gagged & refused to sit in the chair. She eventually caved (due to bribes) and sat on mommy's lap during the haircut. The stylist ensured us that this happens all the time...she may have been trying to make us feel better. Amelia ended up with 2 suckers and mommy one. The stylist didn't even attempt to put the cape on her...smart move. Her new haircut is adorable...no more Joe Dirt jokes from daddy! We didn't get pictures of the 10 min. breakdown which I regret but at the time we were too busy trying to control her because it was NOT funny at the time!
Her & I swapping suckers made her happy...whatever works right?!

Don't be fooled, she wasn't like this the whole time.

These tears are nothing compared to the first 10 min. of her appt.! In Amelia's defense, I think the stylist did poke her somehow because she was doing fine and all of a sudden she grabbed the back of her head & started crying!!

She survived! The final product....beautiful!

Emery's Baptism

Day trip to Bismarck for Emery's Baptism
My first 'Godchild' Emery.

Ruby meeting her auntie Amy for the first time (she seems so excited!!)!

Emery doesn't seem to like hangin' out with Ruby now but some day they'll be buds!! Only 6 weeks apart.

Grandma Sue playing with the grandkids.

Great grandparents with Ruby. G & G Krebsbach and Grandma Weigel (holding Ruby).

Day at the Beach

It was a beautiful weekend so we thought Amelia deserved to be having fun by the water so we spent the day at Detroit Lakes. Beautiful beach and yummy food. We rented a pontoon (girls napped) and played on the beach. Daddy & Amelia collected sea shells while mommy & Ruby hung out in the shade!
Sand all over her face & obviously in her mouth too!

In her own little world. How cute is she??

Dad thinks this is hilarious....mom not so sure!! What if her leg comes out of her socket??

Daddy is always throwing her around one way or another! Sometims she thinks it's fun and sometimes not so fun but he does it anyway!

Having lunch @ Zorbaz on the lake! Ruby is snoozing in the background. Amelia got this shirt at a shop on the lake. I tried it on her for size & she refused to take it off so we had to buy it whether we wanted to or not!!
