CHRISTMAS 2012

Here are the Hawley stockings.  As you can see we had the 3 stockings embroidered and then came miss Ruby.  I completely forgot that we hadn't had hers done until we pulled out the decorations for this year.  Chris used his sewing talent again to make Ruby her own "special stocking."  A capital R was the best he could do.....Ruby thought it was great and pretty proud of it!!

Amelia had a holiday store at school this year where she got to shop with a helper to pick out gifts for family!  She was so excited and came out of their beaming :)  Moms and dads were NOT allowed in the store.       SHE PICKED OUT THIS HOT PINK GLOWING PIG FOR RUBY!!

The hosts :)  Everything went well besides grease dripping on the bottom of the oven causing the house to fill with smoke and alarms to go off, potatoes boiling over once and opening pop after it was obviously shaken.....other than that it was a great success!!

HALLOWEEN 2012

Little Mermaid and Super Girl!!  The last thing I told Amelia before I dropped her off at school was "DO NOT FORGET YOUR COSTUME OTHERWISE YOU WON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO TRICK OR TREAT IN TONIGHT."  So what did Amelia forget......her costume.  She happened to remember her red wig but not her Ariel dress so we had to improvise and she was a red headed barbie!!!  Once again Ruby was a hit going door to door because everyone loves the natural redhead!

The girls are always willing to help/bug the neighbor Barb....we think she enjoys it!

Abby & Ayden came to spend the weekend while my sister Amy attended a conference.  Abby played with the girls and Ayden played with Uncle Chris!  The boys hung out in the shed putting Architecture legos together (falling water), ordered pizza and listened to music.....I think daddy needed a break from all the girls.  We had a fun wknd with the cousins!

AMELIA'S NEW BEDROOM....FINALLY

Amelia & Ruby had been sharing a room but Ruby would always wake up in the middle of the night and bug Amelia so Amelia decided she needed her own room.  She slept on a mattress on the floor for quite a few months and then finally one weekend we made it happen.....she loves it!

Ruby loves it just as much....now it's on to her room :)

Summer 2011 - a couple more pics

Summer 2012 was a blast.  We had so much fun at the lake and back at home we created an art studio for the girls in the backyard shed!  They love their own little space.
