Last Few Days of Summer!

Here are a couple pics of our last few days of summer!

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY RUBY!!

Ruby turned 2 on Aug. 19th....I can't believe it! We made a cake, blew out candles, played outside and bought a lake place!!

She loved when we sang Happy Birthday to her. She even asked for more so we did it again!

It took a couple blows & spit to get both of them out!

Tearing into envelopes is one of her favorite things to do.

Daddy is on cloud 9......waving down on the beach of our new place (hopefully). Our offer is good as long as we can build on it.....daddy has already sketched out drawings of a cabin and has to run it buy the county to make sure it's ok.

PANDAMANIA.....BIBLE STUDY

This was a very big week for Amelia! Her first Bible Study, which she loved. She came home every night just beaming and so excited. Also, this is the first time she stood up, smiled, waved, didn't cry and sang during a program! I was one proud mama!!

Amelia and her friend Abby. Abby is the one that we spent the weekend at the lake with her family and did all the fun things behind the boat! They are so cute together.

Weekend At the Lake with Friends!

We spent the weekend with some friends at their lake place and had a great time. Amelia & Abby were born on the same day and are so cute together. Thank you to the Loney's for pulling out all the stops! Always a treat!

We had our first bike ride the other night and the girls were so excited to wear their helmets.....Amelia with her pink bunny helmet and Ruby with her pink cupcake helmet! We went for a 6 mile ride.....mommy didn't realize it was going to be that long!!

Just can't wait!

The first night we had our tramp Amelia talked auntie Kas into sleeping on it. They had a ton of blankets, pillows, books and flashlights for the big night. They made it until about 10:30 and then Amelia was ready to call it a night and head inside!

AUNTIE KAS HAD A PHOTO SHOOT WITH THE GIRLS AND WE LOVE THE PICS!! SHE DEFINITELY HAS A NATURAL TALENT WITH PHOTOS!

Our 1st beautiful day at the lake in 2011

We brought the boat back from Minot since Rice Lake is a no wake zone all summer due to flooding so we took it out today to Detroit Lakes and had a blast! Cruised around the lake and lots of beach time!

Amelia got this ski trainer for Christmas from Grandma Pam and Darryl and today we broke it in. Daddy pulled her around the beach for the first 20 min. or so and then convinced her to be pulled very slowly behind the boat! This was when she thought it was a great idea!! and then this......

She was yelling "stop, don't look at me. Stop laughing. Stop. Stop. Stop. I'm done." We probably pulled her for about 2 min. and then figured we should stop so we didn't ruin it for her! We do want her to do it again after all! We were so proud but especially daddy!

She was out within 5 min. and these sunglasses never left her face all day!

Have you ever heard of Oil & Water don't mix?? In our house it's red hair and sun! The entire day our little red bombshell walked around with her eyes closed!

Amelia's 4th Birthday Party!

We had such a beautiful evening to have a BBQ with Amelia's friends and parents. Good food, games, treats and most importantly the new trampoline.....a huge hit!
